A Call to Membership

Becoming a member of APBA means taking a stand against corruption and all that it represents. By this, you are making a public declaration and a pledge to fighbt against corruption and all its vices and tentacles

Choosing to become a member of APBA means you commit to living and conducting yourself in line with its Codes of Ethics and Conduct which are formed upon our determination, mission, and goals in our fight against corruption

Professionals Membership

Professional members form the largest group within the APBA community. Membership is invited from all over the world. Corruption has no boundaries. It prevails irrespective of culture, nationality, language, political system or geographical jurisdiction.

Depending on the type of membership, APBA Professional members may us the following Logos on their CV, personal website or letterheads.

 

Businesses Membership

APBA's business membership is growing at a rapid rate as more business establish the need for a public declaration against corruption. Businesses units command an important position in determining our anti-corruption message. Customers are drawn to businesses that are socially responsive and have an honest, transparent and law-abiding way of doing things.

 

Depending on the type of membership, APBA Bussines members may us the following Logos on their company letterheads, websites or for promotional activities.

 

Students Membership

APBA student members are those studying at degree and postgraduate degree levels in recognise academic institutions all over the world. Membership as a student ushers our student members into an early awareness and understanding of corruption vices and most importantly the measures available for tackling the problem. Student members take an active part in our campaigns

and they represent a huge voice in APBA's efforts to raise corruption awareness amongst the youth. Student members may use the following APBA logo on their CV. Work placement employers are keen to know that temporary workers on internship students can be trust

CERTIFIED APBA MEMBERSHIP

This belongs to APBA members who have gone a step beyond ordinary membership by proving that they are sufficiently knowledgeable and aware of Anti-corruption matters as well as being able to deploy the requisite skills in fighting corruption and its vices.

To become ‘Certified’, you must have:

  • Completed a course of a minimum of 5 QCF Credits containing a minimum of 50% Anti-Corruption topics

  • Completed an APBA Anticorruption programme

  • Been an expert Ant-corruption consultant for at least 1 year

  • Been an employee of an Anti-Corruption agency/department with at least 30% of your work directly related to fighting corruption

  • Other qualification routes; The APBA certification panel can make decisions on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsure if you qualify, you may obtain an initial review by a panel member. If after the review you choose to go forward with an application for the ‘certified status’, your case would be considered by the panel. There is a non-refundable fee of £20 for making the formal application.
