Advocacy and Support

The Service

APBA is developing a network of advocacy and support service that will help ease pressure on those who may be worst hit by corruption practices. We have already initiated contacts with our global partners who are able to make local resources available to our service users. The service would include:

  • Legal representation support

  • Referrals to other services

  • Supporting with funding applications

  • Petition towards easing hardship/pressure

  • Advice and signposting

The qualifying criteria determining who can access APBA's Advocacy and Support service is currently under review. However, the service is expected to be accessed by referral from specific member and partner organisations. It may also be accessed by students, professionals and businesses with APBA membership.

Funding

APBA will initially rely on member donations to provide its Advocacy and Support service. With the new operational structure which welcomes non-executive directors and governors, APBA is seeking to expand its funding source to include corporate and contract funding.
